Refund Policy
1. General Policy – No Refunds for Change of Mind / Unused Goods in Good Condition:
- Please note that we generally do not offer refunds or exchanges for products purchased in good condition where the customer simply changes their mind or no longer wants the item. All sales are considered final once the product is delivered and confirmed to be as described and free from defects.
- We encourage customers to carefully review product descriptions, images, and ask any questions before making a purchase.
2. Eligibility for Exchange (Wrong Item Sent):
- You may be eligible for an exchange if you receive a product that is demonstrably the wrong item compared to your order.
- To be eligible for an exchange, the hair extensions or wigs must be:
- Unworn and Untampered with: The product must not have been worn, styled, cut, coloured, washed, or altered in any way.
- Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging.
- Tags Attached: All original tags and labels must remain attached to the product.
- Products NOT Eligible for Exchange:
- Custom-made wigs.
- Items sold during promotional sales (e.g., Black Friday, clearance sales).
- Any items that have been used, worn, styled, cut, coloured, washed, or altered.
- Items with removed tags.
3. Eligibility for Remedy (Defective or Faulty Products – As per FCCPA 2018):
- Notwithstanding Section 1, if you receive a product that is defective, faulty, or does not match the description provided, Oma Hair is obligated under the FCCPA 2018 to provide a remedy.
- In such cases, after inspection and confirmation of the defect, we will first offer an exchange for a non-defective product. If a suitable exchange is not possible within a reasonable time, a refund to the original payment method will be issued.
4. Return/Exchange Process:
- To initiate a return or exchange for a wrong item or a potentially defective product:
- You must lodge a complaint via WhatsApp to our customer service at +234 703 828 6480 within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- You must provide your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic/video evidence of the wrong item or defect.
- Our customer service team will review your complaint and provide instructions for the return.
- If approved, you must send the product back to us within 48 hours of receiving return instructions.
5. Shipping Costs for Returns/Exchanges:
- If the wrong order was sent out, Oma Hair will cover the cost of return shipping.
- For returns due to a confirmed defect, Oma Hair will cover the cost of return shipping.
6. Refund/Exchange Timeline:
- For eligible refunds (only applicable for confirmed defective products where an exchange is not feasible), the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 72 hours of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
- For exchanges, the replacement product will be dispatched within 72 hours of receiving and inspecting the returned item, provided the replacement is in stock.
7. Damaged or Lost Returns During Transit:
- If a customer sends an item back to Oma Hair, and the item is damaged or lost during return shipping, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the item reaches us safely. Oma Hair will not be responsible for items that do not reach us or are damaged in transit during a return initiated by the customer. We recommend using a traceable and insured shipping method.

Welcome to Oma Hair! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Oma Hair website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing or using our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Product Information and Accuracy:
- Oma Hair strives to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are entirely accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only. While we try our best to represent the products accurately, slight variations in color and texture may occur due to screen settings, lighting, and the nature of hair products.
- We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
2. Order Acceptance:
- All orders placed through the Oma Hair website are subject to acceptance by us.
- An order is considered accepted after payment has been confirmed and verified. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or issues identified by our fraud prevention department.
3. Pricing and Payments:
- All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed.
- We accept various payment methods, including standard credit/debit card (processed securely via Paystack), direct bank transfers, and cryptocurrency. Payment details for bank transfers and cryptocurrency payments will be provided at checkout. Orders paid via bank transfer or cryptocurrency will only be processed after successful receipt of funds.”
4. Shipping and Delivery:
- Estimated Delivery Times: We aim to deliver within 1-3 working days for orders within Nigeria, once the order has been processed and dispatched.
- Delivery Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., logistical issues, natural disasters, public holidays) may cause delays. In such events, we will proactively explain and carry our clients along, providing updates on their order status.
- Shipping Responsibility: We are responsible for handing over your package to the designated courier. Once the package is with the courier, delivery responsibility lies with the courier service.
- Lost or Damaged Items During Shipping: Oma Hair is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit by the courier service, unless it is a direct fault of Oma Hair (e.g., improper packaging). In cases where items are lost or damaged due to customer error (e.g., incorrect address provided), the customer will be responsible for any resulting costs. We advise customers to thoroughly inspect packages upon delivery.
- Customs Duties/Import Taxes: For orders shipped outside Nigeria (if applicable in the future), any customs duties, import taxes, or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5. Intellectual Property:
- All content on the Oma Hair website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of Oma Hair or its content suppliers and protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws.
- The Oma Hair name, logo, and other related trademarks are trademarks of Oma Hair. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.
- Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content from this website is strictly prohibited.
6. User Conduct:
- You agree to use the Oma Hair website and services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Engaging in any illegal activities.
- Transmitting or posting any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or indecent material.
- Harassing, inconveniencing, or causing distress or annoyance to any other user.
- Using the website to send unsolicited communications (spam).
- Attempting to interfere with the proper working of the website or any activities conducted on the website.
7. Limitation of Liability:
- Oma Hair will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, our products or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the products purchased from us shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product in question.
- This limitation of liability does not apply to the extent prohibited by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mediation. Both parties agree to participate in good faith in mediation before resorting to formal legal action.
- If mediation fails, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
9. Privacy Policy:
- Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available on a separate page. By using our website, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
